      GAS HOG but reliable

      My average miles per gallon on my 1999 mountaineer all-wheel-drive is about 14-16. I inherited this vehicle from my uncle in 2017, when it had 54,000 miles on it. At this age it needed brakes, water pump, the rear windshield wiper didn’t work, etc. I have been driving this car for 5 1/2 years and I have had very few issues with it other than gas consumption. Everything works well and it has never let me down in five years. It’s a larger heavy vehicle and I feel safe in it. Overall, I am very happy with my mountaineer and hope to get ANOTHER 5 years out of it! I give it 4.5 stars.…
